Three piece freijo back & sides make this unique. Freijo is a brazilian wood with subtle shimmery chatoyance. The top is Sitka spruce bringing a punch to the Nylon sound. The zebra wood binding blends pleasantly with freijo. The Yellow Cedar (Canadian Cypress) neck makes a stark contrast to the softer colors of the body. Double veneered head tones down the yellow holding Sloane tuners.

Inspired by the firefly, this guitar got broken enroute to New Zealand. The removable tap plates are for drumming rhythm. The top is Englemann Spruce, the back & sides are Spanish Cedar, as is the neck. The tap plates are sitka spruce with rosewood risers. These make up 1/3 the weight of the instrument. The head reveals the signature Leaning Guitar design with gold leaf trim

Built In 1995 & played by David Freeman since the tributes of white pine as a flamenco top wood proved to work well. The Back & sides are Yellow cedar with a mahogany neck. The developed warmth of the sound has matured from years of playing. There are some repairs to the sides & the finish has weather checked from jeurgas.
