East Indian Rosewood, Premium

The lighter colour brown has less resin and less density of the darker East Indian Rosewood, while maintaining the stiffness that this wood is known for.  This colouring and quality is rarer than the typical dark purple-browns and reds. If some very brown spots show that is oxidation that was not planed off. These have been recently planed to remove most of the oxidation of 35 Years  aging  These sets come from a supplier that stopped producing. Timeless has had them for about 12 years

Sides and back have  very straight lines.  slight more purple in the sides. This evens out  when finish is applied. Rosewood tends to all go browner when finished.
