Purchased in august 2009, this wood was dry then so,it was previously cut for at least two yearsthus it has aged at least 16 years. Aged wood makes a difference. It increases resonance,sap fibre content undergoes a crystalization adding to the stiffness and decreasing muting. Aging does what torification trys to do, but, Naturally>
